TERMS & CONDTIONS

We are so excited that you've chosen our service to be a part of your special day! Listed below are a few of our rules, regulations, and guidelines. Please read over them carefully.

DEPOSIT – The Picnic Pallet requires a $50 deposit upon scheduling your picnic. This deposit is used to hold your reservation and will be returned after your picnic, once it has been broken down to inspect that there are no damages or missing items. If there are damaged or missing items, they will be evaluated and taken from your placed deposit.

 

CANCELLATION – We understand life happens! If you need to cancel your picnic, you must cancel 72 hours (3 days) prior to your set picnic date in order to receive a full return of your deposit. Any cancellation within 72 hours, will be non-refundable.

 

PAYMENT – After you've paid your deposit, your date is secured. We will send you an invoice according to options decided at checkout. You must complete your total invoice payment 48 hours (2 days) prior to your picnic date. You can make your payment earlier than 48 hours if you prefer.

 

RAINCHECK - Unfortunately, we are not weather women and there is a chance that the weather could not be cooperative on the day of your picnic. If that happens, we will reschedule your picnic date or move it to an indoor location provided by you. However, if you choose to cancel your picnic, stated in paragraph 2, your deposit will not be refundable.

 

MISSING/DAMAGED ITEMS - Don't take or break! We love being able to provide you with everything you need for your picnic experience and trust that every individual will handle our property with care. If we find that there are damaged or missing items, your deposit will be held until further evaluated.

NO SMOKING POLICY- We ask that you please respect our inventory & belongings are refrain from smoking at your picnic. We take pride in providing our guests with the luxury picnic experience. We are able to do this by keeping our materials and inventory in good condition. 

 

NO OPEN FLAME- We ask that you do not bring candles, light our candles or light any flames around your picnic. We use blankets, pillows and a wooden table to enhance your aesthetic and to make the time comfortable for you. In order to ensure your safety and the condition of our belongings, please refrain from fire or lighters of any sort.

 

BYOB POLICY – For those of you who aren't familiar with byob.....bring your own booze! Unfortunately, we do not provide any alcohol. You may bring your own, if your location allows it, a lot of locations don't allow alcohol. The Picnic Pallet will not be responsible if you do so regardless. The Picnic Pallet will not be held liable for any misuse or injury resulting in the consumption of alcohol that you bring. Under age drinking is prohibited! The Picnic Pallet will not be held liable for any alcohol consumption before, during or after your picnic experience.

 

TIME RESERVATION RESPONSIBILITIES – We want you to enjoy your picnic and all of the perks! During your set picnic time, you are responsible for any and all of The Picnic Pallet's assets. For example: if you decide to take a walk down the beach and leave the table and goods unattended, if something gets broken or stolen, your deposit will not be returned.

 

PUPPY POLICY – As much as we adore our furry friends, we ask that you please leave them at home. The Picnic Pallet has a no pet policy.

 

KID FRIENDLY – The Picnic Pallet looks forward to accommodating all ages, including your little ones. Our picnics are kid friendly, however some of our items may not be (glassware, knives, table corners, etc). The Picnic Pallet is not liable for any injury.

 

ALLERGIES – The Picnic Pallet is not held liable for consumer allergies related to any area, service or consumable provided. If you require special arrangements. Please notify us at the time of booking.

 

BUGS/ANIMALS - The Picnic Pallet is not held liable for any adverse risks associated with packages we are providing. ie: Bees, ants, ticks, wildlife, farm animals, etc. It is an assumed risk and responsibility of the customer to be aware of the possible dangers and risks associated with any event or package, especially outside, provided by The Picnic Pallet and any of it's Partners.

HOT COCOA/TEA PACKAGES - The Picnic Pallet is not liable for any injuries regarding hot water used for these packages booked upon the knowledge that hot water would be included.

TRUCK-NIC - This package is one of the most popular and for a good reason.
By signing below you are acknowledging that The Picnic Pallet is not reliable for any dings, dents, scratches, etc that may occur due to unforeseen weather conditions. ( ie: the wind knocks over frame and causes scratch)

PHOTOGRAPHERS - The Picnic Pallet is not liable for any injuries/mishaps during photo sessions resulting from the use of backdrops, etc. Please make sure your clients are aware of their surroundings and don't hit or knock anything over.

I, The Picnic Pallet understand and agree that it is solely our responsibility to ensure that my client(s) have fun and make as many memories as one morning, afternoon, or evening can fit.
